Faith In Action

This Year 14 of our Year 6 children are taking part in the Faith In Action Award Scheme.
They have worked hard all year completing acts of service for school, parish and wider community...

A group of Year 6  children will work with me over the year planning and carrying out acts of service such as reading in church, raising money for charities and hopefully doing some voluntary work in local charities. At four points over the year the children will work with me to reflect on the work they have done. In the summer term they will then submit a final piece of work to be moderated by the archdiocese. After that all those who are successful will be invited to an awards ceremony to receive their faith in action pin level award. It is a bit like the Catholic version of the Duke of Edinburgh scheme!
